How does Replay work? Here's a brief overview of how our
patent-pending design, proprietary software, exclusive hardware and
unique service combine to create the industry's most powerful
on-site duplication solution.
A quick overview of the Replay process:
Sound
Replay uses stage and ambient microphones to capture the true concert or
event experience.
Recording
We record the sound via a Y-split, allowing Replay to easily hook into most house systems.
Mastering
Replay's powerful mastering technology allows for digital and analog connections for the best possible transfer and creates a high-end, studio-quality CD.
Duplication
Enter the robots (or at least the robotic arms). Replay's exclusive, patent-pending system features a multiple array of asynchronous duplicators with robotic operations built for continuous unattended operation and maximum output for large-show demands. Which is to say that it makes a whole lot of CDs really, really fast.
Packaging
The high-quality CDs are placed inside high-quality CD covers customized for that night's show. Crisp, clean designs provide a consistent look and feel and help minimize costs.
Sales
The Instant CDs are then sold to the masses using mobile credit-card scanners. Labels and artists receive a full report of units sold at the end of the night, and fans who want an instant CD but aren't ready to buy take a Replay card as a reminder to log on and purchase the CD later.
Follow-up
Fans who purchase Instant CDs at the show or online can also choose to join the artist's mailing and email list to receive updates about CDs, products and future concerts. iMusicGroup has the technology to coordinate and assist with post-show marketing as needed.
